3 Easy Ways to Integrate Merchants with Your Payment Gateway (Card Processing Software Lease)

Previously, we discussed three popular integration methods available to payment service providers using beGateway's White Label card processing software for online payment acceptance: API integration, redirecting to the payment page, and embedding a payment form via iFrame.

However, the beGateway platform also offers several straightforward integration methods, known as “integration without integration”:

  • Shopping cart payment modules
  • Virtual Terminal
  • Payment links

This article explores these user-friendly methods.

Shopping Cart Payment Modules for Merchants' CMS

CMS, or Content Management Systems, enable quick and easy website creation and content management without advanced technical knowledge. CMS platforms allow users to add functionalities through easy-to-install software modules directly from the CMS control panel, eliminating the need for programming skills or server access.

Some CMS platforms, like WordPress, offer extensive flexibility for various website types, whereas others, such as 1C-Bitrix, specialise in e-commerce.

beGateway provides ready-to-use shopping cart payment modules for various popular CMS platforms, making integration quick and effortless. Merchants simply upload the module to their CMS, configure basic settings, and instantly connect their online stores to your payment gateway.

Currently available shopping cart payment modules are regularly updated based on client requests.

Virtual Terminal for Accepting Card Payments

The Virtual Terminal allows merchants to process card payments manually, typically for orders received by phone or mail. This tool is essential for businesses such as TV shopping channels, telephone-order companies, and catalogue sales.

Merchants access the Virtual Terminal via the payment service provider’s back office. It includes an intuitive form for inputting card details and customer information.

At minimum, the merchant must enter the card number and expiration date; the CVC code is optional.

Payment Links for Quick Transactions

Payment links simplify transactions by enabling merchants to create secure links that direct buyers to a hosted payment page. Merchants define product or service details and prices through their back-office panel, after which the system generates a unique payment link. This link can then be shared via email, SMS, messengers, or even printed materials using QR codes.

Upon clicking the link, buyers arrive at a secure payment page displaying transaction details. Payments processed via these links fully comply with PCI DSS security standards.

Payment service providers using beGateway can enhance merchant flexibility by setting:

  • Link expiry dates for limited-time promotions
  • Usage limits for events or seminars

Merchants can create an unlimited number of payment links, ideal for invoicing services such as online tutoring, consultations, and translations. Payment links also effectively facilitate impulse purchases through online advertising and social media.

At beGateway, we continuously innovate our platform to ensure that payment service providers offer their merchants simple, secure, and efficient payment solutions.
