beGateway DWH Update: You Can Now Search Transactions by UID Without a Date

New in beGateway: Search Transactions by UID, No Date Needed!

We’re continuously improving the beGateway platform — and today, we’re excited to announce a small but powerful update that will make working with transactions even easier. You can now search for a transaction by UID without specifying the date.

It may seem like a minor feature at first, but it has a real impact on daily operations. Especially for PSPs handling large volumes of merchant support requests. Previously, to find a transaction, you needed at least an approximate date. Now, all you need is the UID — and the system will return the result instantly. Faster support, less manual effort, and a better experience for your team and your merchants.

What Is a DWH in the beGateway Ecosystem?

It’s much more than just a transaction archive. Our DWH is a separate system that collects, organizes, enriches, and gives you convenient access to all operations, events, and transaction-related data on your platform.

It runs in parallel with the core API and allows you to:

  • Search for payments using a wide range of filters (date, operation type, merchant, status, etc.);
  • Export transaction lists based on selected criteria;
  • Look up transactions by UID — even if you don’t know the date (a newly added feature!).

This gives you the foundation to:

  • Build your own BI reports using real-time exports;
  • Automate analysis and monitor traffic quality.

Why a DWH Matters for PSPs and Acquirers

Here are just a few situations where having a DWH becomes a game changer:

1. Supporting Your Merchants

Need to find a specific transaction fast? With a DWH, you can search by UID without knowing when it happened. That’s time saved for your support team — and a smoother experience for your merchants.

2. Performance Analytics

Understand how traffic performs for specific merchants or payment methods. What gets declined more often? Where does 3DS get triggered more? Which banks are rejecting transactions?

3. Reporting

Export data in exactly the format you need — for internal dashboards, finance, or compliance reporting.

4. Anomaly Detection

Catch suspicious activity early. Spikes in chargebacks or declines? Unusual transaction patterns? A well-structured DWH helps you see what matters.

How We Designed It for You

Our goal was to make the DWH both powerful and easy to use. Here's what you can do:

  • Filter data using list_transactions;
  • Export filtered transactions via export_transactions;
  • Look up transactions by UID — no need for extra parameters;
  • Choose the level of detail in your responses: basic data, risk info, 3-D Secure fields, and more;
  • Work with exports manually, via cron, or integrate them into your own automated processes.
